This book is composed of excerpts from the ministry of Witness Lee and Watchman Nee concerning the work of the Lord's recovery. The excerpts in each of the five sections are arranged in reverse chronological order. These excerpts show that all the co-workers, elders, and brothers and sisters in Christ, in whatever geographical region on earth they live and serve, should do only one work-the work of the Lord's recovery, which is the work of God's economy, the work of the Body of Christ, for the building up of Zion, the reality of the Body of Christ. Moreover, they should do this work in fellowship and in a blended way under a clear vision of the Body, in the consciousness of the Body, and with an intimate concern for the Body, for the unique goal of consummating the New Jerusalem as God's enlargement, expansion, and corporate expression for eternity. May the Lord use the fellowship in this book to impart a governing and controlling vision of God's unique work and cause us all to labor in this work for the fulfillment of His heart's desire.
