The apostle Paul received a heavenly revelation of the Lord Jesus on the road to Damascus, and thereafter spoke of the “excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus.” Our Christ is excellent and supremely precious, and even the knowledge of Him is supreme, sweet, and precious.

As the effulgence of the Godhead, He is transcendent and superior to all things; yet we can still enjoy His unsearchable riches. When we receive of His fullness as grace upon grace, we too can enter into the excellency of the knowledge of Christ and become the overflowing expression of His riches.
