簡介

本書的編輯，旨在幫助聖徒熟記聖經而被神的話構成，好從經言得着常期的滋養和享受，並能準確的引用經上的話而向人陳明真裏並供應生命。

本書精選重要經文1000節，分為六大主題，即真理、生命、生命的實行、事奉、神聖啟示的高峯及其他重要事項。每一主題只選錄較為重要且常用的經節；有些經節因包含多面的真理，而重複出現於不同的題目之下。任何一處經節的使用，當然也絕不該受限於本書所列的某項主題。

每一主題下的標語乃取材自經節、職事信息或詩歌。

經節右方附有簡短說明，有助於明白經節的要義；有些說明取自恢復本聖經的註解。

凡相鄰經節前有★或◆記號者，表示該幾處經節擺在一起有助於陳明某項真理。

每處經節之右上角附有1至1000的編號；未標註編號者為重複使用的經節，乃為顧及主題之完整而列出。

上述內容均以中英對照方式陳列，俾便雙語使用。

書末附有經節索引，乃將本書所含之經節按經卷次序列出，以便檢索。

Preface

The Bible is the inspired word of God, and every child of God should treasure it and dive into all the divine realities conveyed in the Bible.

Memorizing the Scriptures helps us to be constituted with the word of God. Note that memorizing the Scriptures is not for memorization alone. It is to lay the groundwork for us to receive revelation and enlightenment. The Holy Spirit will find it easier to speak a timely word in our spirit through the word of God stored in us whenever the need arises. Thus, our experience of God will become solid and substantial with the application of the abiding word of God. Over time, these verses will be a long-term nourishment and enjoyment to us.

It is with the aforementioned points in mind that we compiled the 1000 Crucial Bible Verses for a Seeking Believer. The selected verses are categorized into six main topics, namely, Truth, Life, Life Practices, Service, The High Peak of the Divine Revelation, and Other Crucial Matters. The topic on The High Peak of the Divine Revelation is intended to help the saints to be familiar with the verses quoted in the release of the high peak truth, whereas the Life Practices section provides verses related to various life practices that are essential for a normal Christian living. Other important verses that do not fall into any of the former categories are listed in the Other Crucial Matters section.
